1. Something strange (to get you interested): NOW YOU SEE THE PENNY, AND NOW YOU DON'T.

2. The objective of the lesson: 1) to introduce you to "The Tempest"

3. Reasons for the lesson: because it is one of Shakespeare's greatest plays, and we will be seeing a production of it in England, in the town where Shakespeare was born.
