REASON FOR THE LESSON: If you're going to participate in intelligent discussions about literature, you must be familiar with the terminology

CONNECTION TO EARLIER LESSONS OR TO LIFE IN GENERAL: If you want to do well in anything, even sports, you have to know the correct terminology

PROCEDURE: We will look at 7 0r 8 literary terms flash cards, and discuss the terms as they relate to the stories we have read
